In September 2018 I started as an independent entrepreneur, to keep the fixed costs as low as possible I went looking for a reliable accounting office. Initially I had been to Van der Laan in Purmerend, but I found them too expensive for me as a starter. Then I ended up with K. Bakker and indicated here that I thought Van der Laan was too expensive. she told me that I had to take into account € 400 for the first year, and if I had more changes in the second year it would go towards € 800. To my surprise, I have been traveling for less than a year and already have over € 1000 in invoices from the Bakker firm. I made this known, and they insist that they have passed different amounts. They have not confirmed anything on paper and I can therefore no longer prove anything. (learning moment for myself) In addition, I received a fine of € 50 from the tax authorities because I had not paid the sales tax on time. However, I was never told that I had to transfer this myself and that I would not receive an invoice for this. Long story short, the nice talks they have in the beginning do not make sense, they are finally just as expensive or even more expensive than van Der Laan who employs real accountants that Bakker does not have. So if you want to work with them, have all agreements confirmed on paper or go to another person. Currently I have found another party that will help me for € 400 per year and possibly a maximum of € 600 for the second year.
