Captein & Co

This place is a bit hidden but we found it thanks to google map. The food is very tasty, local and with a nice variety, all of this for relatively cheap compared to other places. We were lucky enough to get the table by the window, which is a bit separated from the rest of the restaurant and thus more silent and romantic. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we spent an excellent moment of calm in the middle of an exciting trip.

Imho one of the best hidden places right in the centre of Amsterdam. Not posh, not hip just good beer, nice staff and good food

Very good pub restaurant on a corner by a canal. Slightly out of the way, but better for that. A small menu of wholesome food, including steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes. I had the beef stew from the selection shown on the blackboard. The place was not hugely busy, which was great. I've been before and will go again, next time I'm in central Amsterdam.

Cosy bar with attentive and welcoming staff. Local feel, no fuss simple menu for a quiet drink in the early afternoon. Circled back around after 8pm for lively and bustling vibe.
