Every time I visit Amsterdam I always get my groceries here on the way home. They have a nice variety of vegetarian and vegan products I can't always find at home; this also includes salads and ready-made meals! The salad bar in the front is always my favorite, I'm so glad it's back because it was gone temporarily. The salad bar always has some unique and healthy options to choose from (again, including both vegetarian and non vegetarian options) and it tastes really good for the price. It is a bit pricey but definitely still a fave. It can be a bit busy in and out of the store though, but that's to be expected considering its central spot in Amsterdam.

The AH itself is very nice, and the people are friendly. HOWEVER: I come there every morning to get a coffee and drink. Same thing this morning This one lady completely ruins the experience, she seems to hate her job. Very rude and unfriendly and vibrates her dislike for the role unto every costumer she engages with. Not sure why she's making coffee's if she is naturally opposed to speaking with people. Note: Maybe she's not a morning person, and maybe she is very friendly otherwise. If so, get her a afternoon shift. Thanks.

Except for the fact that it is an AH (The brand that takes as much money from people as they can), it a fine supermarket.
