The tutors at FBSB are amazing. I had Thijs and he was super patient, extremely helpful & always up for a laugh which made the pressure of math seem much smaller. Passed my exam thanks to him!

FBSB is incredibly helpful! The tutors are extremely patient and they find multiple ways to explain problems to make sure I understand the concept thoroughly. The tutors are really easy to work with and the fact that they are young is so great because it creates a less stressful and less pressured environment ! Most of the tutors are also actual university teachers so they extremely reliable. I look forward to my tutoring sessions because I not only significantly benefit from the course but I also feel like I’m spending time with a friend.

The tutors at FBSB are very helpful. I was very struggling in one of my courses, so I started taking lessons and by the time I entered the final exam I was very well prepared, thanks to the help of my tutor. I very much reccomend to UvA students to take tutor lessons with them if they ever need help with a course. Thank you so much, FBSB!

As someone with a limited background in math (I studied Latin and Greek in high school) and the desire to participate in a math test to gain entrance to the Law & Finance LLM at the UvA, I needed someone who could hone my math skills and that's exactly what I found at FBSB. They steered me through all the relevant topics (it's extremely helpful that the people at FBSB know what is expected at the UvA) which allowed me to take the math test with increased confidence and it turned out to be a success!
