A delightful place! The museum has an outer and an inner part in two locations. Take the parking most south of the three, along the A7; from there you'll be taken to the outer museum by boat! Check the timing of exhibitions so you won't miss out at the indoors museum. There are various places for children to play aswell.

Nice for a day out, arrival at the parking lot at the beginning of the dike enkhuizen-lelystad, well signposted € 6). Boat trip from the parking lot to the open air museum, nice to walk around, something like in Arnhem but much smaller. Good fast restaurant with simple snacks, sandwiches, fries for a reasonable price. Not for very small children, but a fun day out from primary school age. Quite pricey, entrance € 17.50 per adult.

Fine, parking spaces and barriers. 6 euro parking fee. Coin available at the Zuiderzeemuseum counter. From there by ferry to the museum

Nice to take the boat to the outdoor museum, stroll around there a bit and wallow in the atmosphere of a fishing village.
