Beautiful vista on the slwest side of the hilled German border. One path is at the bottom and one leads at the hill edge. Best time of visiting is past 1500, especially close to sunset. In the winter you can see especially clear and you can see straight into the Meuse/Waal river landscape.

After the huge tree-felling of a few years ago you can see the results now back: a beautiful area with mainly heath, some free-standing oak trees and other bushes and nice paths to walk through (some have been made by walkers myself, according to me: they are the best :-). At the time I was very afraid of the consequences when they broke the forest (just like in the Haterste Vennen), but now I find it an enrichment because it has become much more varied. You will see new pine trees emerge in many places, that is of course (!) No longer the intention ...
