A very special shop. This is located in the Grijzegrubben district in the municipality of Nuth. Through my former, unfortunately deceased hairdresser, Lei Laumen, I came to this idyllic place for the first time. He lived here with his wife and 2 sons. Lei wanted to show me his bee company! Was very interesting. And there was / is more to see. Still. There is also a shop there where you can buy honey and other related items, such as honey soap and delicious honey wines! You imagine yourself in the 60s of last century. No large stocks and no cash register where you can pay. Lei's widow is around 86 years old and calculates the amount to be paid on a note. And always has time for a chat. She is quite small, but still quite spry for her age. This is how she supplements her scanty pension and does not sit behind the geraniums. A hundred meters further on there is a special chapel in the middle of a three-lane of roads. You can drive around with a car. This chapel was built by the local residents after the Second World War, in gratitude that their neighborhood had been spared from bombing and other war risks.
