Had doubt whether an old starter still worked. Went along with the starter motor and they did a test right away (not under pressure from an engine, but enough tests) and just looked at the carbon brushes. Starter engine still did well. Thick service. Immediately bought a battery charger. Good advice for subsequent steps and the charger had a very reasonable price. Recommended to visit if you need tools or something with a starter or dynamo.
