I just came back from there two days ago that is 20/5/18. Went to CMG casino, mahendranagar, Nepal. Nepal is full of crooks. The local people will keep trying to scam you using money conversion tricks. Now "CASINO" ... The CMG casino is more like a video game parlour . All the games are computer operated. Every game is rigged by softwares. Nobody can win coz nobody can defeat a computer. NO REAL CARDS. No manual roulette. The dealers are rude and illiterate Every thing is computerised for the casino to win. People used to go to Nepal because it used to be cheaper but now it's not. This "hotel opera" has increased it's price way too high that too in (my) Indian currency. The swimming pool was filthy coz no filter system. Everything was charged like i was in a hotel in Paris. No scenic beauty at all from any window of the hotel. The staff is illiterate and rude at times. No courtesy at all. Now for my fellow young guy frnds who might be going for "fun" and "pleasure"... DONT go! This person named "Hem" working at the hotel reception of this hotel OPERA hooked up with his brother for fun and later on we were robbed of our money by his brother. They don't provide any "service" and after a while they charge you money for nothing and if you deny... 6-7 nepali will encircle you and give you police threats. You will have to give the money. So much money. The police won't help either. Now "DANCE BARS".. Same scam. No fun or pleasure and they will threat you to pay a made up bill of 10-12 thousand easily or more than that. The same is the case of kathmandu. DONT GO TO NEPAL. Nepal is only looting and conning the tourists. Trust me... Go Goa... Go Thailand... Go Bangkok. Anywhere but NEPAL. P.S. If you meet this guy named "hem" in hotel opera. Dont trust him. Or anyone for that matter.
