It's tricky to find and there's no signs as to where the visa office is, but the guard will point you in the right direction. The complex is massive, but is possibly a carpet factory. Bus to Boudhinath (Boda) is 20R from Ratna Park bus station.

Visited here to apply for a mongolian visa whilst in kathmandu. The process is very quick and easy and costs 3150Rp and takes 4 to 5 days. The consulate is open 9:30am to 12pm. However it is very difficult to find. Photos of the building on Google maps are correct as of 07/05/18. The description below (from online forums) was also very helpful: 'The consulate is about 20-30 minute drive from Paknajol/Thamel area, so 700Rp in a taxi. The opening hours of the consulate are 9.30am-12pm. The address they give is 'Boudha Tinchuli' which is a busy junction with a tree at the centre. But it took me a while to find the exact location so here are some directions... Stand at the tree at the Tinchuli junction and look around for '3dd restaurant' To the left of this restaurant is a road. Walk up this road and you will pass 'Tinchuli fruit and veg market' on your left. Continue about 200m and keep an eye out for the Consulate of Mongolia sign on the right hand side. It's after the internet/call shop with the Western Union sign.'
