Went to Camiguin unprepared. I was not able to search for tourist spots to visit, delicacies to try , and place to stay . My budget? Well 2,000 it is! My goal was just to arrive in Camiguin then come what may. I thought it was Easy to look for a place to stay but it was not. ‘Twas very challenging . Thank God , MIKKI’s TOURIST INN was available . The place was quiet , it was so serene. It was perfect. The Accommodation was fantastic. The Personnel was very welcoming and even gave Lanzones 😍😍. Yey! There is nothing special this place has to offer. It is in a good location on the highway for the tourist season, like the Lanzones Festival and Panaad. It is a classic USA style motel off the dusty highway, like a Motel 6.

Poor customer service. Tried to check-in this inn on June 16, 2019 at 4pm for a 4 person room at P1,700. They had aircon, shower, wifi, and tv, two queen-size bed. No breakfast, no pool, no toiletries. When asked about the lack of toiletries, the female inn staff with mole on the face said that toiletries are only provided by "expensive" hotels. When asked for towels, they only provided two, but agreed to add one when requested. Another female staff informed us that the checkout time is 10am. We asked her why. She asked us to ask the male staff. Unfortunately we were not able to find him. However, we were able to talk to the female staff and she reiterated that the checkout time is indeed 10am, as per management. We were shocked and disappointed as this is the first time to hear of such arrangement. We tried to haggle for our check out time to be moved to 12 noon as it is the usual standard check out time but we were declined and was told to look another place to stay. We then pulled out our belongings. Midway, we were told to pay P300 because we have already "used" their linens (we stayed less than 30 minutes). We argued and declined as we were not informed prior to booking that they have deviated from the standard check-in/check out time. We got full refund and left to look for another place to stay. Highly NOT recommended: -Male staff no t-shirt -Not courteous -Does not go the extra mile -No conflict management skills -Substandard accommodations -Other hotel near the area offer better value for money than this -Better stay at Golden Sunset resort, Terrasse Beach Resort, or D & A Seaside Cottages.
