Sa-ay Cold Spring

Absolutely stunning & peaceful natural spring. Located behind the pool area (main pools are now empty of water). Sometimes lots of litter lying around. Look up and appreciate the arching trees that give shade. Go during weekdays and have the place to yourselves. Very busy on weekends and holidays. The spring is a shallow area, but deep enough to sit in the fresh water. This is the source of Mambajao river. It feeds through rice paddies, traveling along the airport before reaching the ocean.

This is the closest to a place not yet abused by humans in Mambajao. Though the pools are cemented, it still have the rustic and natural feel to it. The river nearby is still clear and cold. The surroundings are covered by varieties of species of trees and bushes. The road going there is already paved. No entrance fees but please be responsible in disposing your non-biodegradable trash properly as no one is caring for it.
