Cataja Waterfalls

Beautiful place.

Regional Highway 480. In Magdiwang turn off at Mabini Rd (2nd cross street in front of Magdiwang bridge). Cross the village, then take Rizal St. (also known as Dulangan Brgy Rd). 1.5km through rice fields, at the fork to the right. Approximately 3km to the end of the road on a small hill. Ask local residents for guidance (about 200P for about 2 hours). The waterfall is difficult to find without local assistance. You go unmarked about 15 minutes on farmland (water buffalo, cows, goats, geese), crosses streams and fences. 15min through dense forest, crosses a stream several times. At the finish multi-level waterfall with natural pool for swimming. Crystal clear drinkable water. Recommended: take a packed lunch for picnic.
