Caltex Gas Station

This Caltex gas station is the first filling station that opened in Bgy. Mangingisda, Puerto Princesa City. Situated very near the City Fish Port-Feeder Port of Mangingisda, the station started serving the fuel and some of the oil requirements of the fishing boats that harbored in the nearby port and surroundings, and the fuel needs of the motorists in the barangay which initially were largely motorcycles and tricycles. After the concreting of the main road, vehicle population markedly increased and a second gas filling station opened nearby giving this Caltex station competition. The Caltex filling station is set up with a service building at the rear but do not have a mechanic, the filling station also do not have air for tires nor water for your radiator. So try your luck elsewhere in case you need a mechanic, water or even air. And if you need a comfort room, the service attendant will deny use of their facilities even if they have one. A couple of times before, this filling station do not sell fuels whenever there is a power outage and It was very frustrating. The lame excuse the service attendant always gave was that the generator set has bogged down. So if you need petrol but there is a power outage, do not go to this Caltex station. A lone service attendant seems to be always present during opening hours and often a uniformed guard can be seen hovering around in the vicinity.
