Palawan Special Battalion WW-II Memorial Museum

I stumbled onto this place by accident and it turned out to be a great little private museum. The staff was friendly and answered my questions. I was pretty much the only one in the whole place. This was all very interesting for me to see especially because my grandfather told me all about his service in the Philippines when he was in the US Navy during WWII.

We had the place all to ourselves when we arrived. This was an eye-opener. This place should be more advertised since some drivers don't really don't know about this place.

We enjoyed our trip here more than several other museams/locations in the city. We found it very informative and the staff were friendly. Clean toilets, easy parking and cheap 50pesos pp I think! H&J

Great way to familiarize ones self with palawan's history and its contribution to our independence. We had fun looking at the war memorabilia On display. Got a relative in palawan? Try looking his name up in the heroes roster displayed up front and feel proud. We certainly did when we found out ancestors, a grand uncle and a grand cousin in the roster.
