Palawan Uno Hotel

The room was nice but the food was awful. I was wondering if it was due to the hotel being "taken over" by the LGU due to strict health protocols. However, we were made to swab 72 hours prior to being there and was again swabbed on our second day in the hotel. After the second swabbing, which was negative, we were again quarantined at the hotel and had to wait again for the decision of the hotel if we can carry out with our activity at the hotel vicinity. (Btw, our travel was official with no other intentions to visit other areas in Palawan). We definitely complied with every protocol the hotel and the LGU is implementing. During quarantine, however, we should be accorded with the proper food that we paid for. Except for the rooms, the whole hotel was not maintained. Also, we felt that the swab tests done were useless. We were negative all throughout the 3 days of stay, however, we were forced to stay in a quarantine area where we felt we were more exposed to the virus.

Good room and good bed. Restaurant is dirty with everywhere things that not belong in a restaurant. Like a vacuum cleaner,boxes beer,frigerators at the bar. Old stuff not even hidden behind the buffet. Tablecloths with dry food on it from long time. But importend is the good,large rooms and the good bed.

This is a very decent hotel, trying to be high end. Room is very clean. Things are a little worn in public spaces. Bed is comfy firm. Towels are fluffy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Water is strong and consistent; we were in another hotel where the rationing was a serious inconvenience (bucket showers). Not that watershould be wasted, but this part of town has better water supply. For visitors who need creature comforts this is a better choice.

They have a very accommodating staff. There service is amazing. We always held out events there.

Really great place for the price! We booked a basic room and they gave us a king bed. Rooms are clean and the pool area is so nice.
