Princesa Garden Island Resort and Spa

So.... I know my pic does not really help you in judging the view and amenities of this resort. But I am sure by now, you have seen tons of pics featuring the amazing views and surrounding. The only thing about this resort is that it is so remote that it was a struggle getting a ride back to the city. Obviously, if you do not have a lot of money to burn thru.... You cannot afford the back and forth van shuttle. Ahhh but then again... If you are checked in here, you are obviously after getting away from people, yes? So who cares about the remoteness of the place?

I give them zero stars for the way they treated me during the pandemic. They refused to refund me the money even though no flights were flying there and they were closed. They gave me a credit but only if I book within a certain time frame. They are still closed and flights are still not flying there! It’s now been over 6 months and they have denied me extending the time frame to book a room. This is a disgrace and is criminal. All the other hotels in Palawan 4 stars and below actually refunded me my money.

I made a $1,260 deposit. The resort canceled my booking due to Covid. They refused to refund my deposit. I would advise everyone to avoid this criminal enterprise. I have never dealt with such an immoral business.

My friends and I had such a wonderful stay! It was great from the beginning, when you get a welcome drink and snack. We had a beautiful clean room that has a patio that leads straight into the pool. The floating bridge to the sand bar is super fun but paddle boarding to the sand bar was even more fun. We had delicious food at the Italian restaurant and the breakfast buffet was top notch. I had the Hilot massage at the spa and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had, if not the best. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing beach vacation!

Poor management! Presidential suite as explained was 3 rooms for adults but when we got here the third room was tiny that we can’t even fit?? If this room was meant for kids, advertise it correctly! Definitely a lot of false Marketing in this hotel! Facilities: -bridge to the sand bar needs to be constructed better. Wonky bridge! -mangrove is full of trash. Clean it up! -staircase to the jacuzzi is old and moldy. At least paint it! Looks gross! -room wasn’t really clean when we arrived. Saw dead mosquitos on the floor. Service: -food and drinks are not that great at all!! -ordered pepperoni pizza with no pepperoni available? Why even serve pizza? That’s the most basic ingredient. What are your chefs doing?... -cocktail drinks didn’t taste good... -staff woke us up at 11:15pm to say that they forgot to charge for a soup which is your staff’s responsibility to check and not bombard us when we were already asleep! Staff: -they are all nice but some need to be trained as they don’t even know what kind of drinks their serving?? Overall experience was a fail! Never going to recommend to anyone and never going back!
