Marinduque Airport

It is a small airport and a propeller type airplane is being used in here. Not so much facilities since it is not an international airport but it restroom is well maintained. Public transportation is availalble outside going to the towns of Marinduque. No taxi here, only jeepney or tricycle around. Rent a car or private tours is available also.

There are no waiting area for welcoming guests. We were told to sit outside the Arrival Area while that area is so empty and so air-conditioned. One particular guard is kind enough to let us in to use the comfort room.

Maiden flight was April this year and currently has three flight schedules per week, afternoon flight from Manila on Monday and depart Marinduque early evening and early morning flights during Wednesday and Saturday. Arriving at Gasan has an easy access to the Provincial Capital, Boac. The fares range from 27usd - 46usd per way.

Newly refurbished, it bustles only when there's are flights (M/W/Sa am only) then it's back to being part of the laid-back post of this province. Very sparse in its amenities, no ATMs, food stalls, taxi stands, so come prepared. However, Marinduqueños are very friendly and willing to help. It's about half an hour ride to the capital town of Boac and if you don't have a ride, just cross the street outside of the airport and flag a jeep that'll take you there for about ₱25 per person.
