Dive Batanes Lodge & Restaurant

Very near the sea. Staff are courteous.. rooms are clean... and the rates will be reasonable when traveling with four people sharing a room and quite comfortable at that. For couples, it is quite on the high side. When booking, request a room with a balcony and the sea view as there is another building not facing the sea. Cellphone signal is not available in the rooms which is a good thing..one goes to batanes to commune with nature. Food is average but there are restaurants on walking distance but reservation must be made to get a table. You can have food to go and bring this back to the hotel and enjoy in your balcony.

Attentive staff, new facility, a beautiful place to stay at

The room is big but not a lot of essential things were provided like extra towels, soap and shampoo unless you ask the front desk. Blankets are so thin to keep you warm and comfy. Towels are not fresh and white. Breakfast was not very good because they did not cooke the meat and rice correctly. Had a great time with their karaoke. We bought fresh fish and ingredients from the market and asked the staff to cook it for our breakfast. They did but they charged us PHP 3,600 which we thought was too much. Don't ever make the same mistake. Overall, our stay was just OK.

Owner and staff were very pleasant, friendly and accomodating. The roofdeck provided the venue for a very pressing/important request 🙂 The sound of the waves and wind from the roofdeck added to the ambiance for a complete Batanes experience. Airport transfer and food served on time. Staff Gina always cheerful and ready to assist in all our needs and requests.
