Appleton Little Paradise Real Quezon Beach Resort & Restaurant

Only stopped by for breakfast, so my comment is based only on my initial impression of the place. It's a typical beachside resort; nothing extraordinary, but not bad. There's a pool, a basketball court, a restaurant. What stood out was the service. The staff was personable, courteous, and professional -- from the moment you park to the the time you leave. Always ready, and always smiling. That's a big plus for this place. I hate those places where the staff are all surly and look like they'd rather die than work there another day. The food was better than average, priced just right. The coffee was okay. A refill would've been appreciated. The private toilets by the pool were clean and well-kept, so that's another plus.

Went there for Friday lunch. Place is great for dining. The food presentation is spot on. Unfortunately the taste is lacking. Sinigang na tanigue was too sour and salty. Buttered Garlic shrimp was bland. Felt like it was cooked without butter, and butter was added as a sauce. Buffalo wings wasnt marinated well, you can only taste the outside flavors, not in the meat. Only food that tastes good was the grilled liempo. Brewed coffee was good.

The CR is really bad, small and dirty. Don’t have separate bathroom and CR, don’t have heater. Need to pay extra fee for driver as a pax. The room is small and humid. Staff’s attitude was quite impolite.
