San Francisco Elementary School

One of the oldest primary school in Quezon city. You know it's a fact by looking at the building architecture. The front building is named the Gabaldon building. Named after the Gabaldon act of the Philippine commonwealth.

I started school at SFES in 19 41, was interrupted by WW II, it was occupied by the Japanese forces for next 3-4 years. I returned in 1945. Went to Del Monte High School and left for the States in 1949. Names that I remember Eva Ilagan, and her cousin Paz, Diosdado Matulak, John Cordova, Tirso Cruz, Marilou Cruz Diana Cruz Dr."Mahjong" Garcia and his family We lived on Paraiso St. by Fernando Poe Studios I was wondering why I could not remember some of the names and realized that was 72 years ago. good memories.
