Metropolitan Museum of Manila

Working hours of this museum show the long way that Philippines still have in tourism sector. Not working on Sundays and holidays is such not a friendly policy to torurists or visitors in general. People have most time to visit museums on weekends and holidays. No wonder most of reviews mention only couple of people visiting at one time. But maybe that's the museum management's goal. Really sorry about it.

Modest museum with some great examples of contemporary art. The Korean exhibit was well presented and staff were very friendly.

The place was just okay. To their credit, the museum was clean and air conditioned. There was a Korean culture exhibit when we visited, but the showcased items were very scarce and uninspiring. They can do better, I'm sure.

The place was really conducive for appreciating the art works and all however the overall experience went down hill as one of the employees shouted at us that we should not touch and not go too near the paitings. At that time we were just looking at a safe distance and she looked at us angrily and in a discriminating manner. She made us feel in a hostile environment. Beautiful place although dont go if you want to feel somewhat of a low life.
