Place needs updating but tinola is good. Always a good meal especially for a bike rest-stop as the beach is visible and the breeze of the ocean is very refreshing here especially during a very hot bike ride.

A good place for home cooked meals, among the favorite are tinolang isda (fish soup) usually catch of day, grilled and fried pork and their pinakopsan. They also have variety of kakanin or delicacies. Expect the place to be crowded during meal time and it also lacks parking space during peak hours. But if you are after of a good food then it is the place to go.

Good 'lutong bahay' food you'd enjoy while enjoying the cool sea breeze of Macajalar bay. Pork chicharon is a good side dish there. Slightly dusty though being in the roadside. Cleanliness & hygiene also may need to improve as I still saw a grain of cooked rice in a 'newly-washed' fork.
