Aninuan Falls

Nice quiet waterfall and end to the hike from Aninuan village... it's on a private property so you will have to pay 30 pesos for access but if you walked there you will be happy to bathe in the fresh water.

This is a great place to go to and cool off.... The trek there is exciting and if you really want to get a work out then once you reach the falls continue to Trekking up to Ponderosa Resort....

I go here regularly, You have to climb up a mountain to reach the falls. It's highly encouraged to travel by foot when on the mountain. The entrance fee costs somewhere between 10 Pesos to 50 Pesos, It really depends of you're a tourist or not. The Water's fresh and cold, You can even drink it.

To find the route to the falls find the bridge on the road by Aninuan Beach, then go down into the river bed and follow it up. The path winds on and out of the river bed but it will lead you there eventually. It cost 30 pisos to get in and, unless I missed something, it wasn't worth it. But about 100m below the protected paid area there was a fabulous small chest high pool with crystal clear water to swim in. It made the whole trip worthwhile.
