Was greeted by Mario, and he provided an in-depth history of the artifacts at this site (in english!). Has a wealth of knowledge, so it's great to pick his brain if you have any questions!

We brought our aunt to this place...been a while since she visited Butuan City and what better place to show her the historical venue than the Balangay Shrine. The guide was very comprehensive and gets the attention of the listeners. Our relative who works there was not around but the one who attended was amiable just the same. I think if they could have some benches for visiting seniors would be great, too. Proud to be from Butuan City!😊
