The place advocates for the needs of, and even employs some, persons with disability/special needs. It doubles also as art gallery of sorts selling pieces by the namesake (Julyan) of the restaurant as well as other artists. Ambiance was nice and relaxing but food and drinks were just okay. I wonder also if even the feel of place would diminish if the place was full of customers. While with rustic charm, I feel that there is always a challenge for places that promote a cause to be better than they are. People should not come and eat because of the advocacy, rather the quality of goods and services should work to promote awareness, or even showcase the fruits, of that said cause. Worth dropping by especially for those who wish to support what the cafe stands for but in itself, it's not yet worth going out of your way. Hope this improves and gets more support from locals and tourists alike.

Just a nice place and nice food presentation, and nothing else. I'm sorry. The beef steak and burger patty was cooked rare, I suggest they ask their customers how their steak like to be done. Chicken and onion rings were too oily. The cheese on the burger tastes like cheez whiz or some sort, just ketchup would be better. Most importantly, judging by its name, Julyan's Coffee Spot, you would think they serve good coffee, but no. Their toffee latte was too sweet, I don't know bout their cappuccino tho, that one could be better. Overall, the price is a little expensive for its taste, serving size is decent, props to them for hiring special people, awesome place for pictures but the food needs a lot of improvement.
