Luneta Park for the first time I saw So clean, safe and fresh to jog or walk and has a bike lane. Well guarded and secured as they made sure that you only go through 2 entrance and exit points. Safety measures for Covid are in place that you need to register, take temp and wash with alcohol. Face mask and face shield strongly implemented. Otherwise, no entry is allowed.
Disappointedly - but understandably both Luneta Park & Rizal Park are still closed , due to Coronavirus restrictions ... as I really wanted to have a walk around these Manila parks to explore all the monuments & other tourist attractions located within & surrounding these parks
We could do better fellow countrymen. The national should exert greater effort to maintain, beautify, clean up this national.and historic landmark. Im sure a lot of us visited other countries's national park and so many of them are grandeous and fascinating. We can do the same. Push a bit more Philippines! We can make it to 5 stars.
Good as the old days. Tjanks a lot to our beloved mayor isko moreno
For tourists to Manila, the areas encompassing Rizal Park are must-see locations with outstanding attractions of remarkable historical importance. Some of the many tourist attractions are Rizal Park and Luneta Park, the Independence Flag Pole, Rizal Monument, Dr.Jose Rizal Execution Site, Lapu-Lapu Monument, Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, and many museums and government buildings. Moreover to the west of the Roxas Boulevard and Independence Road is the Quirino Grandstand where the Annual Independence Day celebrations are commemorated. Intramuros is another area just north with the Cathedral of Manila and other religious places of interest. In general Rizal – Luneta park areas are of great national prestige for visitors that is well worth a day’s visit. I'm enchanted with historical places and monuments that attest to the heroic actions of our national heroes and I'm so pleased that I got the chance to experience them while they are still around. I'm hoping that the government will continue to safeguard historical sites like this. The only downside is the blight of a towering building in the background. The building should have never been allowed to be constructed in the first place. Overall a must-see place for everyone.
