It was really a great experience with Dom Martin Hizon showing the Pińa & Abaca Collection & how it was made. It is so exciting to learn that it is Philippine made - handmade woven by Filipino, inspired by Filipino Tribes from Luzon, Visayas & Mindanao islands. An excellent and well-maintained museum that houses liturgical vestments designed and crafted by one of the Benedictine monks at the Abbey, Dom Martin de Jesus Hizon Gomez, more popularly known as Gang Gomez in the Philippine fashion industry. The vestments are made of indigenous Filipino fabrics from all over the country.
