Hacienda Don Juan is a place that proves resorts can be so much better when it comes to architecture and designs. You'll love the scenery, the greens, the air and the lights. It's by far the most recommended for intimate bonding or other stuff related. There's an enigmatic feel to the sunrises and sunsets that one can rest upon without distraction. The drawback however is the water itself. There isn't much water or even sand once you step in, you'll get painful seaweed and rocks. But the man and his boat rides solves that, in a minute or two you'll be somewhere deeper or perhaps he'll give you a nice cruise around and beyond the resort. Also, watch out for everything that lurks in the water - sea urchins (common), jellyfish (occasional), maybe some octopuses, and other fishes. They love to sting. Nonetheless, if you wanna party the soft way or just relax, read a book, and sleep, Don Juan is the place. A favorite, recommended.

It was our first time to visit the place and everything was worth it. Accommodation, food, staff, architecture is good. Classy and historic at the same time and mind you it is very affordable. The kids enjoyed so much. The beach isn't over crowded compared to neighboring resorts. They also offered cheap boating fee's and one tip you can try to haggle if your bringing kids. Resort is strictly no walk-ins, you really have to make a reservation first. We'll definitely recommend HDJ to our family and friends back home. 💙💦
