Newly renovated & improved, the library now has more books and reading materials inside a spacious setup that includes a General Santos City Corner, a Computer Room, a Kids Room and even a spot for Senior Citizens. Wifi is free and decent. What excites me the most are the historical artifacts at the GSC Corner that make for an interesting trip-down-memory-lane-visit for young generals. When you go in, you just need to sign in at the registration table across the desk of the helpful librarian, Ms Cecille who will gladly tour you around if it is your first time. ♿Accessibility Review: PWD-friendly entrance and interiors. They have priority seating and lane too. 👍

The Public Library is open for all. If you want to use free internet searcing (research purposes); computers are available for use in the second floor, next building. Too bad if you come late, many seats are already taken and students stay long. There's not enough books! Most books are old. Hope they'd get to have newer ones. Children should come here to learn and not to loiter. Many stay here because it's air-conditioned. "Just saying"

I love this place because the people working here are very accommodating to the needs of clients. The environment is fully air conditioned and conducive for learning.
