Maitum Municipal Hall

This is one of the picturesque municipal buildings I have been to that has one of the biggest halls or lobby. Shaped like letter Y, its offices are distributed on the East and West Wings while the Mayor's Office and the Municipal Museum are on the 2nd floor. The Museum features one of the most fascinating archaeological finds in modern history, the Munato jars which are basically anthromorpic burial jars from 3,000 years ago. Visit is free but it would be better to coordinate with the Tourism Office for an orientation of Maitum's history.
