Our Lady of Manaoag Chapel

Beautiful, air-conditioned, and well-maintained chapel of the Dominican order. Sunday morning Mass at 10:00 am is always full, and the congregation is participative, with many lay people actively involved in the liturgy. There is also 6:00 am Mass Mondays to Saturdays. Abundant parking. But if you don't arrive before fifteen minutes of the Sunday Mass, you would have to sit under the tents beside the chapel.

Conviniently close to a couple of subdivisions, tho has limited parking. If you're early for the mass you can get seated inside the Air-conditioned Chapel, but if all those seats taken, you have to seat outside beneath tents.

A chapel honoring the Our Lady of Manaoag and administered by the Dominicans of UST fame. This is the only Catholic place of worship that is airconditioned in the city so hearing mass here is comforting despite the stifling Dadiangas heat outside. The Dominicans priests are among the best preachers I have known and that includes the 2 priests here. The chapel can seat only a few so better arrive early.
