It's a really good training ground for students to face the reality ahead of them. The only thing that this school lacks is the support for those students who excels. They really lack support in giving their students an opportunity to enhance their craft aside from the academic aspect. Unlike the MSU-IIT and MSU Marawi.

Best training ground for students who want to be well equipped all aspect of your life depending on the opportunity you take. 1. Mentally - if you enrolled in engineering make sure you are already decided to focus your five years doing rigorous reading and solving. Professors usually give you task, assignment and exams beyond the scope of the subject. ES 61 is more than statics, it could be all math and science combined in one subject to determine who is the greatest among the intellectuals. Solving all problems in the Tablos solution manual is my best advise. 2. Physically - surely you will gain pounds of muscle in your leg when you graduate. Distance of buildings force you to walk making you healthier, fresh air for the school is kilometers away from the city and the traffic. 3. Socially - The campus have estimated more or less 7, 000 students. You will for sure learn how to associate with couple of students, its an easy one MSUan is so approachable and humble is many ways. You will also learn to associate with different animals... yes animals. Like geese and duck at Camanay Kiosk, Carabao at the back of Tanghal building, Cows at your way going to Uhaw, Malunjau and 39 and goats everywhere.
