SAGGAS

Really good guide! We went to the caves and did the 'cave connection' and our guide was very attentive, super friendly and well informed.

Booked the day before and was told we'd get a text from the guide. Didn't get a text, so we headed to the office and they hadn't organised anything yet. They just called a guide over on the road and sent us with him. He was fine, but didn't tell us anything about the stuff we were seeing or engage in any conversation. Seemed completely pointless to hire him but it's required apparently. Bit of a let down. If you're going to make people hire guides even when they don't need them, at least give them something for their money!

We saw a group going to their office at 4am and we decided to join. Though our original plan was for Kiltepan, the guy at theor office suggested that Marlboro Sunrise is better, so we joined. Upon arrival at drop off, our guide is very nice and accommodating. He is always telling us where to walk due to muddy road up hill. Being just joiners to big group, we thought that SAGGAS will ask us 1600Php for the trip to our surprised that they made is pay by pax where we only paid 500Php. Without them we didn’t experienced the beautiful sunset of Sagada.
