Stone Creek House

Stayed for 5 nights and I can only highly recommend to stay here! Reasons below Location It isn’t a beach view but can only recommend to stay in town. Great to have access to supermarkets, restaurants, ATM, pharmacy etc. You will spend the whole day outside anyways so this location is really convenient! Host Carlos is the best host you can hope for. Extra responsive, helpful, arranging scooter and island hop and really anything else you need. He even went back to the hospital after we had left the island as we were missing some documents we needed. And if you’re cool enough, he’ll even let you hang with him and his buddies ;) Huge thanks to his guy Arnold who was also so helpful and amazingly kind! Accommodation Loved the design, the place is made mostly of marble and you have everything you need. AC, hot water, WiFi, Netflix, Xbox, board games... Carlos thought of every details to make the guest feel at home. Arnold picks you up from the port with his NYC cab trike and will bring you back when you leave, arranging tickets for the boat etc.

Had a great time at the house, right in the center of town. It has everything you need for your holiday.

AWESOME experience! Feels like you walk into the USA when you enter the doors. Carlos has streaming NFL ticket and let me watch the Denver Broncos game on the big screen. Can't beat hitting the beach in the morning and watching some NFL in the afternoon! Loved our stay here.

I've stayed for 4 nights in Stone Creek House,between February 27th to March 3rd,as part of my 2 weeks vacation on Tablas and Romblon.I usually search on-line and read all reviews about the places I am going to visit and was looking forward to arrive in Romblon and meet my host Carlos as the reviews about this place and owner were all awesome.Well,now after I already checked out and left the island I only can say that everything simply exceeded all my expectations.I am only thinking at the day I will be able to come back and bring along my friends to spend a great time on the island. Carlos the owner,born and raised in New York and finally "parked" on this paradise island is doing all the best to make his guests stay memorable with all attention paid to each single detail,from the high-speed wi-fi,very comfortable Japanese stile bed,great mattresses and pillows,inverter air condition,big size refrigerator (with the shot glass already waiting for you in the freezer),curved big size SMART LED tv to the high quality toilet paper,excellent shower and anything else you might need.The location is also excellent just a few steps to the center and restaurants area,on a busy small street that becomes unexpectedly quiet at night,however. He picked me up from the boat terminal and arranged the return boat ticket,arranged a motorbike rental for 2 days and one day island hoping to the beautiful near-by islands of Alad,Cobrador and snorkeling places,including a great fish barbecue on the beach at lunch. There is no restaurant inside the Stone Creek House but Carlos will give you vouchers of 400 Pesos for double room that can be used in the best restaurants in the town-JD&G Italian restaurant (where I highly recommend the excellent genuine pizza,the onion focacia,the grilled marlin fish and kalamansi home made gelato) and Old Sailors Restaurant as well. And special thanks to Arnold,the driver and tour guide,for his excellent services and support. I only can say that I wish to be back at soonest!
