Revelation Hills

Amazing hidden botanical garden facility. It is not quite a monastery, not entirely a botanical garden, not quite a resort, but a little of all three. You can rent the place (or cottages on the property) for an outing, but you can also just drop by for a visit (entrance fee is approx. P100). The views are great, the plants are perfectly manicured, and the lush, green grass is expansive. They have a petting zoo inside, too. The facilities are great for the island, and they were still building new additions as of Summer 2018. The owner/manager of the property is a Christian, so this facility is designed to be used for Christian purposes. As such they do not allow alcohol or other such vices on the premises. The place can be used for weddings and such. Special note for the scenery: while the main section of the resort is across the street from the ocean, there is a second part to the resort that is on the ocean side. The tour guide will take you down 70+ stairs to get to a secret alcove that is all to themselves. Great for picture taking.

The so called "pastor" owned this massive property. Sheeps and fishes are found inside, its not clear if they sell these. There are rare ornamental plants inside and our tour guide says the plants are sold (expensive) even to foreigners. They also sell spiced vinegar, honey and achara. The "pastor" must be so rich. We paid 50 pesos each to enter the facility plus a fee for the "tour guide".
