The play area outside is not safe for children. The back of the plastic butterfly cannot be climbed upon as it is lined with spikes (to simulate the follicles). The slide, teeter totter and swing are all rusted, dirty and ill-maintained. Inside the facility there are few readable visual aides to help people learn. For example the exhibit about a butterfly’s life cycle is like replicas or fossils strung on wires. An audio tutorial can’t be that costly. The trail around the periphery of the museum is narrow. We were in a large group. People pushing, trying to see disadvantaged the small children there. Again, signage (photos, places of origin, et.) would have helped.

Feast your eyes on a collection of butterflies and other insects, as well as well-preserved specimens of various arachnids and lepidopterans. Great place for arthropod enthusiasts. 😊😊

Butterfly shy during late afternoon... suggest to visit the place in morning... kids at least enjoyed the mini park.
