The Madeline Boutique Hotel & Suites, Davao’s first boutique hotel built from reclaimed wood and container vans. It aims to make every guest feel at home. Its mission is simple, to be sensible and elegant. Sensible to the environment, needs of our guests, community, and our employees, and elegant in the way we present our brand.

Highly recommended. The room looks and feels great. There is more than enough storage space and internet speed. The telephone has useful features not found on other hotel telephones (e.g. caller ID, list of missed calls, hard buttons for volume, speaker mode, etc). The service is wonderful. Lots of unique restaurants and cafes nearby; also near a park with a playground. If I have to nitpick, it'd be three things: bedside lamp, TV, and blinds for the balcony glass door. The bedside lamp is as elegant as it is unintuitive. You can get used to it but it's unnecessarily hard to switch on/off. The TV signal gets affected by adverse weather, which makes it useless if it rains. I wish they would include an option to use it as a second screen by having an HDMI and USB port that's easy to access (it has the ports but are unreachable) or by turning it into a smart TV (easily doable with an Android TV stick/box). This would also be good use of the fast internet. Lastly, the blinds. They put white translucent blinds on a translucent glass door. The result is that they're redundant. I suggest they remove the translucent sticker on the glass door and get blinds that actually block light. Other than that, the experience in general was great.

Affordable and budget friendly hotel. The food is great. They have polite staff members. They have a unique structure that will give you unique experience while in Davao City. You can enjoy the paintings along the hallway. They have the most comfortable pillow and a huge bed. The bedroom is clean and everything smells good. There is one thing that they need to improve, there shampoo that looks and smells like liquid body soap. Plus points: There is a near mercury drug store in the corner street, you can buy snacks and chocolates. I enjoyed the stay. Davao City, life is here.

I like the fresh breeze of air & ambience at their rooftop cafe. Coffee is great. Turon w langka was yummy.

This place is very good for those who want to stay in to a luxury hotel. They have good staffs who smile and greet you whenever they can,and their service is also commendable. Their rooms are spacious and the food buffet is excellent. I loved the way they made use of container boxes and modernized it into hotel rooms. The downside I see though is that it is not quite accessible for those who have no private cars as people will have to track it down along the circumferential road on Marfori Heights in Davao. But other than that, it's one of the best.
