Barcino Wine Resto Bar Santolan

Barcino is my go-to place for paella (especially black paella), cheese, and wine. It's perfect for dinner dates-- but the special thing about this branch is that it's homey -- making it perfect for luncheon as well -- since Santolan Town itself is considered a weekend mall, thereby making the entire compound homey. It offers outdoor dining as well, if you are uncomfortable dining inside. The staff are friendly and accommodating -- I just think that they're either understaffed or the architecture of the place is a little off, because the bar sort of separates the restaurant into two wings, making the far wing less visible to the staff. I had to stand up several times to call the servers. Other than that, it's perfect.

The food and wine selection is nice. Clam dish was good but I would suggest double checking your orders with this restaurant. I ordered from them twice and each time something was missing.

Chistirorra and gambas 🍤 yummm and they have al fresco dining!
