The Medical City

The technicians handling the procedures were good. The problem is that they didn’t follow the patients number. There were two guys who came after me but finished way ahead. I came in at around 8:45 and finished at 11:00. There was just a number of patients but the clinic was not full to make them vet busy. The ecg technician was just there waiting and I was waiting too but no one called me. Thats way too long for an APE! If I didn’t ask one staff what I will do next after waiting, no one called me for my height and weight. The manager was even there the whole time

Hi Team, I am writing this review for the person who treated me and my mom so poorly. I am not sure why he calls himself a doctor. He was very impolite, sarcastic, unhelpful and incompetent. My family would always choose to go to medical city because people here (doctors, nurses, even receptionists) are very approachable and warm, but this was my first time visiting this branch because it's somehow closest to home. So I was saying, this Doctor ALBERT GARCIA, was not helpful and did not care at all. I went in to his office and he asked what was wrong. I told him, "Good afternoon Doc. Yung sikmura ko po kasi sobrang masakit po. I mentioned "ulcer" but I didn't say I was diagnosed with that. I always had this since I was a child, like hyperacidity. I went to different doctors and that's what they always say, so I assumed I am hyperacidic. This Albert Garcia went on and on with lecturing me about why I was not rushed to the ER when I was continuously vomiting the day before I had the check up with him. I told him that I was really used to not being confined because it's been happening for years. And all I needed was rest and take my meds. But he went on and became very sarcastic. It seems to me that he was not listening, and he did not ask the right questions (ung usual na anong kinain mo before ka sinumpong ng sakit, saan sumasakit, kung masakit pa rin ba). Instead he asked "so umabsent ka sa work? at kailangan mo ng medcert?" he asked it sarcastically!!!! I am not exaggerating when I say he was very sarcastic because it was true. It seems to me that he did not believe anything that I said, I think this is because he was thinking that I was only there to get a medical certificate to present to work when I get back. Worst part is, he wrote that I had dyspepsia in my med cert!!! and that I may resume to work even though I told him I was still in pain. I really can't get over this worst experience so far. My mom did not witness this because she came into the room a little late, but so much had already happened. When mom entered the room he laid low a bit. I guess he wasn't expecting that I was with my mom. This was by far, the worst experience (with a doctor) that I had in this clinic. Looking on the bright side, the staff and nurses were really friendly and approachable, unlike this Doctor, Albert Garcia, who doesn't really know what he was doing there. To be fair, I am rating the team 2 stars, but if only I could give doctor Garcia negative stars, I would. Because he is the worst. He doesn't care about his patients, like a real doctor does. I would understand the lecturing because I know how it feels to be lectured by my parents, when you know they're doing it because they are actually concerned.It was totally different with doc Garcia, it was almost like him acting as the jerky boss and I was his personal assistant kind of lecturing. If this doctor was not around, or only if he treated us with some respect like how we always treat our doctors and all people with, if only he was helpful, I would've given a 5 star rating. This feedback was to let you know that something is not right, and I hope that this will be dealt with accordingly. I hope this feedback finds doctor Garcia well. Thanks so much for taking the time to read, team. I will still recommend the medical city to friends and relatives, hoping they won't experience the same.
