My furbaby was diagnosed with CDV last December 2019 (Just recovering from Parvo and was just 3 mons old that time) and luckily our vet recommends JS Canine Distemper Rehab. From Taguig, we traveled to Quezon City. Sobrang hands-on nila, wala akong masabi! They also sent me a video of my dog every single day. Now, my dog is fully recovered and nag negative na sa CDV last January! Praise God and God Bless JS Canine Distemper Rehab Center!! Kudos guys!

From inquiry to actual confinement and until now that my baby’s already distemper free, the doctors have been very nice and accomodating. On the day that my baby was diagnosed with CDV, i searched google for the clinic that accepts only pets that are positive with CDV. I had a lot of inquiry thru phone like what are the things that we need to bring with my baby if we will bring him to the clinic. It was Doc Mai that i talked to at first and she is very nice and patient in explaining the process of confinement. When we went at the clinic on the same day Doc Mae is also there to assist us and to explain what are our options for our Loki to have a better chance at surviving though they could not really guarantee anything since CDV is really fatal especially for a puppy. She also explained the billing process and gave us a choice of whichever payment method could be more convenient for us. They immediately connected to me thru facebook so they could send me updates about my baby’s health status. They would either send me a message or a picture to update about my Loki. This is the first clinic that I wasn’t afraid to receive a message. In other clinics, I can only receive a notification if it is a bad news. This time, a message is just an update and i’ve always been excited to see how’s my baby is doing. I could also always ask them a question thru messenger and they were always willing to answer. Less than a week of confinement, my baby had already started eating and in a weeks time his appetite is back. I was able to visit my baby for at least an hour everyday since his first day at the clinic. My Loki is not only a CDV patient, he is also positive with erlichiosis, his cbc showed a super low count of his platelets and rbc and doc Mae, as always, have been very patient in explaining to me what could be the options since it would be hard for me to look for a blood donor. After 12 days of confinement, my baby was then ready to go home. Loki was released but we continued communicating with the doctors. There were still a lot of questions since I am a worrier and my baby is still a carrier and i have to be careful because i also have other furbabies at home that could be at risk. Thank God the doctors have patiently answered my queries, I was NEVER seen zoned. After a month from the date that my Loki was diagnosed with CDV, he took a retest. NEGATIVE!!! I was so happy and thankful to all the vets who took care of him. A week after the CDV retest, he had a cbc and the results are normal!!! He is now ready to receive his 1st vaccine. Thank you Doc Mae, Doc Mai and Doc Aira for taking care of my baby Loki!!!

Our dog, Bailey, was diagnosed with canine distemper virus and we were advised to bring him here. We allowed him to be confined since the only way for him to be fed is through IV as well as the only way to take medicine. Amazingly, right on the first day with medications, his condition improved and he started eating again. We brought him home after three days and continued giving him medicine. Now, he is back to his old healthy self and hopefully when we get him tested for CDV again after a month it will be negative. Thank you so much Dr. Rona and her assistants for showing care and concern to animals.

#DistemperFree Chuchay!!! 🙂 Yes, Distemper is deadly but if you will act immediately, you can save your loving pet. Seeing her everyday makes me thank God for giving her another chance to live. I remember when our neighboorhood veterinarian advised us to just ”mercy kill” my Chuchay. It feels so bad, right? Good thing my mama and kuya really searched for another vet who really has the heart to save a furry friend; Doc DAVID ARCEO of COMPANION ANIMAL VETERINARY CLINIC who advised us to give Chuchay medications, and if she will survive after 2 weeks, she can be vaccinated (at least he gave chuchay a chance to survive and not just kill her). After a week, I really couldn’t take the pain she’s feeling. She couldn’t move and was just crying all day, couldn’t eat. That time, I contacted a lot of vets and good thing a friend of mine Siena Marie Escuadra told me about this rehabilitation center for distemper patient dogs; Johanna Shekinah Canine Distemper Rehabilitation Center. I messaged them and the same day brought Chuchay. DOC JOSEPH DE GUZMAN entertained us then after, DOC RONA DELIMAN took charge until the last day. She was admitted for almost a month. I appreciate their honesty in terms of billing. After a week or two, they told me that Chuchay was already eating so they will remove the dextrose fee. They updated me everyday. And I am very happy that they took good care of Chuchay. They allowed her to go home when she got back her energy, then we just brought her again to the rehab center for the test. And when she got NEGATIVE on the test, oh my God! I couldn’t explain how grateful I am to all the people who helped me and to God! Lesson: Don’t lose hope and do everything you can! Like what Doc David told me, vaccine is very important! He now takes care of my Chuchay and another kulit baby Zeke. Thank you God 🙏🏼 Thanks to all the people who helped Gabriel Yaptinchay Manalansan Janah Monica Jayrald Nogales Lourdes Ludy Blancia Siena & my Kuya, to everyone, especially to all the Vets who have the real hearts! ❤️ (Appreciation Post)

Doc Rona, Kuya Lucas and Kuya Elmer were very nice and patient to our dog and to us as well. Our dog is not easy to handle as he does not want to be touched by strangers. But their team was able to give proper medications to our dog even though he is quite a handful, and we are really thankful to them. Our dog is now negative from Distemper. :)
