4.5 stars! This is by far the best place to unwind in Isabela. Kasinnahan has the FASTEST INTERNET SIGNAL in the city! Loved the food (especially the Special Sotanghon, Beef Kulma, Kasinnahan Fried Rice) and the Basilan native coffee. The staff is very accommodating, from booking our stay to our check out. We tried the pool at night and there is an overhead net for the falling leaves. The forest-vibe of the hotel is really relaxing. The only downside was poor cellular signal, but really, it's a blessing in disguise, allowing us to disconnect to connect. ♡

Security from Armed Forces of the Philippines. Philippine Army. The rooms are okay, have television but no cable or any pictures pop up on screen. Food is good.

A new hotel in Basilan located a few kilometers away from the heart of Isabela City. It has nice views and deliciously prepared food inspired from the province. Nature will welcome you as you enter the hotel. It was closed because of the pandemic when I visited it but I think the pool is nice for family outings or gatherings.

We had a comfy 1-night stay here last January. Hotel room rates are way cheaper than other hotel in urban cities (Superior Matrimonial is only php1700- good for two pax). Staffs were accommodating and hospitable to the guests. There’s a mini cafe bar also inside whenever you feel like dripping some doze of caffeine. The pool, however, was under renovation (when we were there). So, we missed it. My only issue is the Wifi and signal. But i think the good thing of it is added security and for yiu to just unwind and enjoy the foresty (lol is it even a word) breeze.
