APO Pension House

Stayed 1 week here, I really enjoyed my time. The place is clean, well located, and the staff... So nice! Particularly Rachel that was very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this place it is great for solo travellers, couples, or friends!!

APO pension is probably one of the most value-for-money places to stay in Coron! Very helpful and friendly staff, very clean, good Aircon, TV with Fox movies, no breakfast included but they have a decent breakfast (100-300 PHP), and they will provide you with cutlery etc if you want to have your own breakfast there. It is a basic place with not the fastest WiFi connection, as almost all places in the Philippines, but they really take care of the place and try to be as helpful as possible. It's very conveniently located between the port and the town (walking distance 10' from both). I would absolutely recommend this place.

It has a homey feeling, I like it that it's more of a house compared to a hotel. The interiors were mostly made up of wood which i really love and just like from the other provinces, you take off your shoes/slippers and leave them along the hallway. The service and food were satisfactory. It's also situated along the main road so it's very easy to locate and stroll around and not getting lost. I might go back in the future.

The teller was a very rude, almost aggressive. Location was stuffy. Not really clean. Everyone took their shoes off in the reception, and the result was that the whole place smelled bad!

It's decent value. Our fan room was large enough and the bed comfy. Staff isn't so much looking to give you a good experience. They're not unfriendly though. Downside was that our room was very noisy. There was an open connection to the neighbouring room on one side and the bathroom on the other side, that was really annoying. Location just outside of town is very convenient if you do a quick stopover, because of the close proximity to the port. Town is a 15 minute walk.
