Santino's Grill

After reading the reviews and as we were staying at the two seasons just a couple of doors away, my wife and I decided to go here for valentine's dinner. We walked in and waited by the door for someone to acknowledge us and seat us but after 8 minutes of being ignored, we asked a waiter for a table. He pointed at an empty table which was full of empty plates and said he would get it cleared for us. We waited patiently but noticed 2 locals arrive and get seated straight away. Another 10 minutes later, another 4 locals arrived and they too were seated. I approached the counter and complained that we were still waiting for our table to be cleared so we could order food but were completely ignored. I then kicked up a bit of a stink and eventually someone came to our table. They removed everything except an empty bread basket and an empty can of Sprite along with chunks of food on the table. We thought they would return to finish the job and bring us a menu but after another 10 minutes waiting and watching a dog eating food from under everyone's table, we gave up and left. We were there a total of 45 minutes and disgusted with the way they treat their paying customers. It was clear that if you're not a local, they don't care. It was also shocking to have staff just walk off time and time again after asking them clear the table so we could sit and order. If you're a tourist looking for a good meal, avoid this place. I'd recommend giving island brasserie a go instead.

The baby back ribs here were absolute delicious, tender, moist and falling off the bone. This is the best restaurant I ate at across all of Palawan. When I return to Coron in the future, I will definitely visit this establishment again. P.s. The Buko (tender coconut) shake made my day!

This place is the best. Large portions, great taste and very reasonable prices. I enjoyed it very, very much. It's very underestimated by the tourusts I think but I recommend it a lot.

I am so sad to write this review. I used to love this place! When I was here in 2017 I can for multiple lunches and dinners. However I went tonight and they were out of so many seafood options and when I finally got my shrimp it was soggy like it had been frozen and reheated. The sauce tasted like the left over burnt pieces of a bbq. When I asked the waited for another sauce he brought me some sort of creme dessert sauce. I ended up giving all my shrimp to a stray cat. I wont be going back. So disappointed.
