Important things I have understood from studying in UNP : 1. Foreign students will always be humiliated and discriminated even by the securities. 2. The huge amount of fee as for a foreigner is only for the well-being of the college and the buildings rising up. 3. Never ever study in unp if you have another option.

The University of Northern Philippines (UNP) is a university in Barangay Tamag, in the City of Vigan in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. It is the first and oldest state university in Northern Luzon which offers low tuition fee, tracing its roots to 1906, which is older than the University of the Philippines by two years. It is the only state university in the province aimed for less-fortunate people and one of three state-owned educational institutions of higher learning operating in Ilocos Sur, Philippines. There a lot of foreign students are studying in this university.

There are so many different kinds of people in here that each bring something really special to contribute to the school which makes it so unique. It isn't just my school. It is absolutely my home away from home. I feel so comfortable here. I have figured out how I learn best because my university offers so many different ways of learning.
