Another National Cultural Treasure church in Majayjay. Beautiful church

Nice church, old architecture makes it beautiful in its own way. The only problem is that the parking lot is not large enough when having such large "visits" from other places. Nonetheless, the church is peaceful, and sits at the location very accesible to people.

As part of our pilgrim last 2018, this church structure made an impact on me its place of situation and history. Created way back 1571, in 1576 the church was burnt down and was rebuilded 2 years later, moderated by father Juan de Placensia. Sadly it was burnt down again and was again rebuilded as church made of stone between 1616-1649 it took a while for its restructuring and again at 1600 was partially burnt. This church have been through ages and conflicts yet still under father Jose de Puertollano it was rebuilded in between 1711-1734. As such it was renovated again at 1839 and 1842 due to damages brought about by typhoons. During the filipino american war in 1912 it was restructured to be the american headquarters. Given all thats happened here it stands against time in its glorious form and continuously blessing the people around it as the house of our Lord.
