COLORBAR Salon and Day Spa

I've always had my manicure pedicure done here as it is the most convenient location for me. The owner is also nice, though I'd say the service is sometimes not worth what you pay for. Just today, as I was having my nails done, few people came in for hair service. I understand that the staff probably gets more money from this, but I sat there first to have my nails done, and paid for the cost of the service, so I think at least they should do it well. But what happened was she was trying to do it really quick that even the previous nail polish(which was a dark color) wasn't completely removed, making it visible even after 2 coatings of the new color I chose (which was a bit of a lighter color). There were also big spaces on the edges that were not covered with polish. One last thing, I asked if she can put colorless polish on top of the color as I always want my nails a glossy finish, also for me serves as color lock to make the polish stay longer. Instead, she refused to do that and said that they do not have colorless polish anymore. Seriously? Anyways, from my disappointment today, I doubt I'm gonna come back here for nail services. My friend also who's been a regular customer here shared the same sentiments. Guess we have to look somewhere else. I had a few conversations with the owner few times before and she seemed really nice. But have to keep the business going so I hope she will consider talking things over with her staffs.

Loved the experience. The manicurist makes sure that the patron was satisfied with the service, asks question she like. Downfall is, there is only one manicurist at the moment. There were two people who is done with the other patrons, but didnt at least mind assisting other customers (us) but anyway, it was a good experience. See photo below for the outcome.

I had my mani and pede done at Colorbar. Jem took care of my nails and has the most gentle touch. I'd definitely come back for their excellent salon service and amazing customer service from the staff and owners.
