Food is good but service is very slow. Waited for an hour for our food to arrive and it's not even complete when we got them. The burrito on the photo was the one that they forgot and was served later.

It is always fun to try foreign cuisines around the world and trying Mexican in the Phillipines was fun. Maya was Mexican cuisine with a Phillipine twist. Maya was out of their signature dishes, this story played out at every restaurant we tried. Every drink or dish that looked to be reasonably priced was not available. Maya was the only restaurant in the islands, we encountered that had cloth napkins a welcome change from the skimpy paper napkins. The staff was nice and accommodating. While the food wouldn't pass muster in Mexico it was a good enough facsimile and a good time was had by all.
