The experience is with KYK electric tools. Although it states on the box that it is Japanese quality, the tools are made in China. Apparently the manufacturer is not proud of that, neither is the distributor, because the country of origin cannot be found in the box or the manual or the tool. I purchased the 1/2" Hammer Drill in April 0f 2017. I have worked with the drill for less than 60 minutes and it gave up in March 2018. The retail outlet Metro in Toledo City (Cebu) claims that the drill comes with a 6 month warranty (no statement or warranty card included). So it is out-of-warranty and can be thrown away. Another 2239 peso's wasted on a poor quality Made in China product. Another KYK tool I purchased was a foot operated air-pump to inflate tires. It failed within 30 minutes of use. Buyer be aware!! KYK is very poor quality.
