Dear Maam Edna Ricarte, I am a daughter of one of your patients currently admitted in your hospital here in COMC. I hope this complaint letter will reach your good office and here my rant of what had happened to my patient because of the negligence of your staffs that got me dismayed and very disappointed! My dad who is the patient has been admitted in your facility as being referred from other hospital last January 21, the ER staffs were great and accomodating i have no complaints about them, then my dad was admitted at the ward at the 3rd floor. My dad was a case of CKD and is really having a difficulty breathing due to a very high crea. His nephro consultant is Dr. Gonzales. On wednesday in the morning my dad was already panting and catching his breath thus he needed an emergency dialysis since his crea was 13 very high. It was 8am already still my dad was not being brought to OR for an IJ cath insertion so he could be dialysed as emergency. As i could assess my dad he is really on critical condition already but the dialysis sked given to him was still at 3pm and the surgeon that will insert the IJ Cath depends on dialysis sked and my dad cannot wait for 3pm he will really pass away that time if not for the ER doctor that came and seen me begging her to let my dad be on emergency OR and dialysis. The biggest issue again is the RE- INTUBATION of my dad due to the nursing staff negligence in the area. My dad was being intubated last Saturday Jan.25, 2020 and then was hooked to mechanical vent machine he was candidate for ICU admission but there was no vacancy. Morning of Jan.28, 2020 his pulmo doctor came and told us that my dad is improving might not be needing anymore ICU admission if he continuously shows positive progress, the pulmo doctor asked the nurse that came rounds with him to re-secure the tape on my dad's mouth to make sure the ET tube remain steady and inplaced but then the nurse didnt came back to my patient to do as ordered, we waited because maybe she got busy carrying out doctors order and have forgotten. I just let that pass. When we asked assistance to turn my dad on different side the ward man even also noticed that the ET tube tape has slightly moved and he informed the nurses outside. Two nurses came and assessed but then they did not do anything to secure it instead they just manipulated the tubings on the vent machine. Then on around 4pm my dad started coughing and they could not suction secretions, he is starting getting tachypneic. I was out during that time and my auntie and neighbor who was watching over my dad kept calling me because an ROD came already to assess on my dad and when i came back he gave me the sad news of the need to RE-INTUBATE my dad because of ET tube dislodgement already. This kind of negligence is a no excuse just because this is a ward area and my dad's case is for ICU care, it is not our fault if the ICU dept is full because we are ready to have my dad transferred to the best nursing care that he may get. If anything could have happened to my dad during reintubation i would not really hesitate to sue this hospital. If only i knew the nursing care that your facility is offering i have opted to other private hospital. Medical Center used to be one of the best in the city of CDO because I myself been a patient during my childhood years and my relatives are being confined here too long time ago. I had an uncle that had a heart surgery here it was like 15yrs ago and nursing care given was excellent. But as for the present i would score your staff as 4 out of 10! I hope there is something that the admin can do about my complaint because we are paying customers. Dont let me loose trust and confidence about COMC. Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android

i spend my new year welcoming 2019 in this hospital, though the E. R. is not that stunning they still provide me immediate attention. I was alone for 18hrs but the nurse staff was hospitable and very thoughtful. The only thing i find rude is one of there staff who delivered my food for the 1st time was unresponsive i greet him but he just knock the door set the food on the table and went off. impolite kind of person and he was still the same person who took me to the xray room. all the best!

Ambulance driver is not on standby. We already paid for an ambulance for transfer but we are waiting almost 2 hours for the ambulance driver. What kind of emergency center is this? Just because we already paid our billings which is a hundred thousand mind you they don't care anymore and let us wait for the ambulance driver.,

This hospital is very reputable. Not that big of a facility but it's generally clean and well-maintained. Rooms are also adequate for patients and visitors.
